Seeking a talented professional experienced in web application development with PHP 5. Successful candidates must have a solid knowledge of object oriented programming theory, PHP frameworks and advanced application development. The position will primarily be responsible for development of custom applications for clients and Appeal Web Designs core applications: CMS, contact manager and e-commerce shopping cart.
Successful candidates must have a strong background in object oriented programming theory and large scale applications.
Requirements:- Experience developing in PHP 5
- Experience with advanced application development
- Excels at build highly reusable code following proper programming theory and best practices
- Solid oral and written communication skills / ability to communicate with clients and staff Detail oriented and well organized
Bonus:
- Experience using or developing coding frameworks
- Familiarity with Mambo/Joomal, Drupal, WordPress, osCommerce, phpBB and other open source applications
- ASP or .NET experience
- LINUX server admin experience
